When I was 14 years old, I had the opportunity to play hockey for my school's team. It was a wonderful experience that gave me a lot of knowledge regarding hard work, discipline, and teamwork. Here are a few of my hockey journey's highlights.
My time at Pahang Sport School, from 2014 to 2018, was all about hockey. Every day after classes, I trained hard as a defender, trying to stop the other team from scoring. We played in tournaments against other schools from all over Malaysia, and sometimes we had friendly matches at our school. It was a great experience, and I learned a lot.
Being a defender meant I had to be really focused during games. But it wasn't just about winning, it was also about enjoying the game and being a good sport. Through playing hockey, I learned about teamwork, discipline, and never giving up, even when things got tough.
After I left school, I still have a love for hockey. I hope to get back into it one day, maybe even just for fun. The lessons I learned during my time at Pahang Sport School have stayed with me, and I'm grateful for the experiences I had there. Hockey remains one of my fondest memories from my school days, and it continues to inspire me in many aspects. Hockey gave me lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging that I cherish to this day.
